Many hours were spent correcting mistakes and poor repairs from the past and not everything was photographed. The car was also missing some hard-to-fnd original parts and a few parts were damaged beyond reasonable repair. Both front and rear suspensions were rebuilt, brakes were rebuilt, fuel tank was removed, cleaned and coated, wheels were rebuilt with stainless spokes and polished (still waiting on the knockoffs) and so on. Nearly every piece of chrome was replated inside and out and the bumpers were polished. 7137 was never a candidate for concours and was restored with that in mind. The final goal was intended to be a respectable, working example of a Ferrari 2+2.
