This
Ducati 250 Mach I started life as a poorly restored street bike
found in San Francisco. We intended to race the bike in Vmoto
and AHRMA vintage events and it was subsequently restored as a
replica of the 1965 Vic Camp Ducatis. Throughout most of 2003 the
bike served as part of Vmoto's promotional displays. The motorcycle
was built to be period accurate, but still complied with modern
racing rules. Although the motorcycle was displayed in several
shows and concours, it was never meant to be a garage queen.
In late 2005, a Kenny Augustine built engine and larger front
brakes were installed to help make the little Ducati competitive
on a national level. The Mach 1 has recently been sold.
