On the lawn at The Quail Motorsports Gathering - 2008

This little MV Agusta was purchased with the intent of participating in the California Giro events as well as the Motogiro America in Monterey. The MV was acquired along with a 1953 Mondial 200 from Michael Harper-Smith. Michael is well known in the motorcycle community for his extensive, seemingly endless collection of small Italian motorcycles. I have often heard, somewhat tongue in cheek, that nearly every small Italian single in the United States was once owned by Michael. The motorcycle received a cosmetic restoration over the summer of 2008, but we missed the Motogiro by two weeks. It was shown at the Quail Motorsports Gathering during the Monterey car week.
