This 1956 Porsche 356 A coupe was found stored
in a garage, all fluids drained, under a cover a number of years
ago. It was a very original car, but needed to be refurbished and
mechanically restored to make it a nice driver - not a show car.
The 356 was repainted in the original Anthacite Metallic. It was
finished two weeks before the 1998 Monterey Historic Races featuring
Porsche and was shown at the 356 Registry West Coast Holiday the
week before. Although we never took photographs of the process,
what you see here is the final result. The car was sold in 2001.
