We found this 1956 Porsche 356 A coupe in a garage, drained of all fluids, under a cover back in 1994. It was a very original, rust-free car, but desperately needed a sympathetic restoration to make it a nice driver - not a show car. The 356 was repainted in the original Anthracite Metallic, interior redone and mechanically reconditioned. It was finished two weeks before the 1998 Monterey Historic Races featuring Porsche and was shown at the 356 Registry West Coast Holiday the week before. The car was sold in 2001.
